Annual Events
God Is Good Foundation holds two annual events each year.
Living Traditions – this event is designed to share the living traditions seen in the cultures of our refugees with the people of our community.
This event corresponds with World Refugee Day which is June 20th each year. God Is Good holds this event either the weekend before or after June 20th depending on facility availability.
Celebrate Gala
This event is held in September each year and marks the end of the Refugee fiscal year.
This event celebrates the successes of our refugees, honors an Employer of the Year and a Volunteer of the Year.
This event is a major fundraiser for God Is Good Foundation and helps us in providing the services to our refugees.
For this inaugural event and given the number of refugee children our area has received, God Is Good will hold a Celebration Picnic.
