ESL - English as a Second Language
ESL is part of our Smart Start program.
While there are a few refugees who can speak fluent English upon their arrival to our community, the vast majority of our refugees need language training.
God Is Good Foundation provides ESL training that focuses on Employment readiness, life and health skills.
Once a student completes their reception and placement period, they have the opportunity to continue with God Is Good and develop their language capability even further.
